What is EMBRACE?
EMBRACE is the leading IT system for crime prevention and safety promotion work. EMBRACE enables a knowledge-based approach in collaboration between the municipality, police, housing companies, and more, with a simple but powerful IT system.
We also come with a partnership adding knowledge and efficiency to your local work. Our customers are small and large municipalities, housing/real estate companies, and others.

Analyze trends, hot-spots, and changes. Just click and analyze. Analyze statistics from different sources layer-on-layer. See geographical concentrations, week-day concentrations, and more. No need for a degree in statistics. Its simple yet powerful.
In summary, EMBRACE enables everything that a knowledge-based approach entails: To continuously map crime and issues with unsafety, to analyze the causes of crime and issues with unsafety, and to easily document and evaluate the effects of the conducted interventions to reduce or eliminate the causes of the problem, with the goal to prevent further crime and issues with unsafety. A knowledge-based approach is also about basing decisions concerning for example which crime preventive interventions to choose for a particular local problem on existing research and other types of knowledge. We enable all this.
Why EMBRACE?
EMBRACE works. Our proof of concept consists of more than 80 municipalities and their collaborations with housing companies, the police authority, and others.
We offer an efficient and easy-to-use IT system but also training and a continuous partnership with the aim to assist our users to reach their goal to create more safety and security and to prevent more crime in their local society.
With us, our users have a partnership and support from specialists who support and strengthen what our users wants to accomplish locally in promoting safety and in reducing crime. We help our users concretely with getting started with a knowledge-based way of working via relevant competence support but also via their own web hub, the ”Users’ Hub”, containing material such as training films, compilations of current research of effective interventions, as well as various useful templates. We also offer general trainings/courses in crime prevention, for example in knowledge-based crime prevention.
